ABOUT MY HUSBAND

My husband is honestly the sweetest soul you'll ever meet, even if he is a total ball of nerves. For a long time, he was really lonely and let people walk all over him; he'd even vent his problems to a living statue performer because he didn't have anyone else to talk to. He cares so deeply about doing the right thing and was horrified to learn about the darker parts of his shared life with Marc.

It hasn't been easy for him, especially finding out that his whole childhood was a way to cope with some really heavy trauma, but seeing him find his confidence has been incredible. He went from being this shy, anxious guy to someone who finally stands his ground and knows his worth. He's not just 'the quiet one' anymore; he's my teammate and I couldn't be prouder of the man he's become.

HOW WE MET

Steven and I ran into each other at the museum he worked at in London.

I was only down for a short while to see a couple shows in the West End and, during the day, I figured I'd go and have a wander around the National Art Gallery. I was delighted that I was able to have a look at the Ancient Egypt exhibit because, when I was a kid, I had a bit of a thing for Egyptology (my mum still has the canopic jar I sculpted in primary school). When I finished and had a sweep around the gift shop, that's when I first met Steven. He was shy and sweet but we got into a really good conversation about ancient Egyptian myths and legends and, of course, the gods, with my favourite being Anubis.

After our first meeting, we exchanged numbers and texted pretty regularly and we went out for lunch a couple times when I took the train down to see him or when he came up to visit me. For a while, he fell off the map and I started getting worried about him. I hung around London for a while and eventually he turned back up.

He explained to me where he was and I didn't really believe him until I also met Mark and then Jake. It took a while for all of us to understand how to get along and there's still spats here and there but, for the most part, were stable. Well, we were all stable enough to get married so that's something. It's kind of like having 3 different husbands but we all communicate, which is nice. It's complicated and sometimes messy but I love Steven (and the other two) and I couldn't be happier.

SCROLL III: LATEST CORRESPONDENCE

14th February, 2026

To my favourite person in the world,

I was going to get you a card with a mummy on it that said 'I'm wrapped up in you', but then I realised that's a bit macabre, isn't it? And you deserve something much better than a card from a gift shop.

I wanted to tell you — and I mean this quite literally — that you are the best thing that's ever happened to me. Before you, my life felt like a radio stuck between stations, just a lot of static and lost time. But you've become the one constant. Whether I'm waking up in a pile of sand or just having a panic attack, you're there. You look at me and I don't feel broken. I just feel like...me.

I know things get complicated. With the other lads and the whole moon-god business and the occasional waking up in a different country. It's a lot to ask of anyone. But you stay. You hold my hand when I'm shaky and you love every bit of me. Honestly, I think you're a bit of a superhero yourself for putting up with us.

You're the love of my life. Truly. I've got some chocolates (the nice ones, not the ones Marc likes) and I've cleared the schedule tonight; just us.

All my love,

Steven
